Tricks Her First Mortal

Sara Bunja plops down at the counter with a heavy sigh, turning to Narvi Verdant. "Tough day out there, am I right?" Narvi Verdant: Oh I must be out of sorts this evening I barely noticed you sit next to me! Sara Bunja nods enthusiastically. "I'm super sneaky, so that makes sense. Are you like... Feeling okay?" Sara squints at Narvi Verdant, putting a finger to her forehead. "Your whole aura just looks... Super bad." Narvi Verdant looks about curiously. "My...aura?" He squeezes his hands one after the other. Trying to decipher what she meant. Closing his eyes and drawing up some of his aether into a mild spell, making sure the flow of his aether wasnt obstructed in some way. "I am unsure of what exactly you mean!" Sara Bunja gasps and recoils in shock. "Oh my gosh, it's like... Super bad! All gnarly and like, brambly and shit!" She leans closer to Narvi Verdant, lowering her voice. "Did you accidentally get a curse or something?"

Tricks Her First Mortal

Narvi Verdant hold his arms out. Looking up and down his own body. "A curse? We did venture into some ruins this eve. Though i am knowledgeable on the healing arts, I know little of curses and how to tell if i have aquired one!" He looks about himself in a bit of a panic. Sara Bunja: "Are you familiar with the ancient art of palmistry? I can totally help with this! Put out your hand, please, and I'll tell you your fate!" Sara Bunja squints at Narvi Verdant's hand, making humming sounds in varying pitches. She traces her fingers delicately over the lines on his palm, closing her eyes for a moment to concentrate. After a long pause she shakes her head and lets out a soft sigh. "It's not looking good. Your life line is completely fractured, at this rate you might no teven last the rest of the week. What a shame!" Narvi Verdant: THE REST OF THE WEEK! Please, tell me there is something i can do! There must be some kind of cure! What must I do? Sara Bunja gazes upon Narvi Verdant in deep reflection.

Sara Bunja gazes upon Narvi Verdant in deep reflection. Sara Bunja: "Well... There may be some options to like... Correct the uhm... Inbalanced aura. But we certainly can't do it here! I might know a place that could help, though... If you're interested, of course!"

Tricks Her First Mortal

Narvi Verdant: And these options, they will work? I wont die to the curse? Sara Bunja: "Oh of course, totally! It's not going to be easy, though, and there may be a certain nominal fee! But, I mean, it's your life! Y'know?" Narvi Verdant: Well whats the fee? I want to be sure i can pay it before hand.
Sara Bunja gazes upon Narvi Verdant in deep reflection. Sara Bunja: "Uhm... How much have you got?"
Sara Bunja: "Of course!"
Narvi Verdant: I have roughly 500,000 gil. Would that cover it? Sara Bunja ponders for a moment and then nods resolutely. "Yes, I think that 100,000 gil should cover the materials, and I don't imagine it woulud take more than that for the time. Just make sure you have it on hand, y'know? Don't wanna take chances! Narvi Verdant: I can hand it too you now if you wish! Sara Bunja: "Oh no, I wouldn't want to take it yet, I'd hate to get your like... Curse cooties all over me. Now, would you mnid following me? It's a bit of a long journey!

Narvi Verdant: Very well, Ill keep my distance. As to not spread the curse to you!
Sara Bunja beckons to Narvi Verdant.
Sara Bunja: "Good call!"
THE TRAVEL TO THE ESTATE
Sara Bunja: "Here we are, see? It's like, kinda spooky looking and whatever but the people in here are SUPER qualified! You're in good hands, promise!" Narvi Verdant: Well i know some places you have to go to learn from wonderful healers, looks quite spooky as well.
Sara leads the Raen man inside the estate, his fate to be determined at a later date!

Sara Joins the Daughters of the Secret Veil

A cold chill hovers in the air, freezing one's lungs with each inhale and sending chills up one's spine. Upon entering, visitors see a dark entry room, ghastly lit by pale blue stained glass windows. A wooden centerpiece holds two candelabra and a journal with a dark figure flipping page after page, taking its time to read the descriptions within. Sara Bunja slips in silently through the door, largely ignoring the spooky demeanor of the space and focusing instead on the rather extravagent looking stained glass windows and surprisingly plush looking furniture that graced the entrance of what was a particularly haunted location. She took a couple more steps in, smiling cheerfully, seemingly oblivious to the oppressive atmosphere. "Oh, hi there, uhm, miss! How are you like, doing today?"
The dark cloaked figure stood solid, except for the slowly lifting of her head. The figure spoke with a forceful command, "....come closer...", taking care to feel the unknown guest as she lingered at the entryway.

Sara Bunja cocks her head to the side and raises an eyebrow. "Uhm, are you like, blind or something? Do you need someone to like, buy your groceries for you and stuff? I could help, for a modest nominal fee of course!" Sensing vulnerability in her prey, Sara stepped forward into the room, undeterred.
As the blue-skinned raen stepped closer, the dark figure took the opportunity to thrust her clawed hand outward, clasping its fingers around the aura's neck. The jolt of movement caused the cowl of the dark figure's robe to fall backward, revealing Ceana Ramsay's pale features. The room's darkness enhanced the vampire's burning red eyes, while the pale blue window light glistened on Ceana's sharp fangs, "WHY SHOULDN'T I RIP YOUR THROAT OUT WITH MY CANINES, MORTAL?"
Sara Bunja yelps in surprise and puffs up her cheeks indignantly. "Uhm, b-because that would make a super gross mess all over you nice floor?" She shuffled her feet uncomfortably, putting her hand up on the stranger's. "You could just say that you, like, don't need help with grocery shopping...!"

Sara Joins the Daughters of the Secret Veil

Ceana Ramsay lifted the raen until the tips of her toes dangled over the wooden floors. Sara's cute little pink shoes clicked against each plank on the floor until her pink-clothed back pressed into the room's dark blue walls. The pale vampire's angry features turned cold and serene, her lips twisting into a maleficent smile. "I don't need groceries..." she whispered while slowly walking the aura woman back into the wall. Ceana Ramsay presses her body against the raen's, using her free hand to pull on the aura's left horn, allowing a gap between Sara's neck and shoulder. The vampire rolled her tongue over her right fang before slowly lowering herself to a suitable place on the aura's neck. A snicker echoed from Ceana's throat before she dragged her fang across Sara's pale blue skin. Beads of blood bubbled to the surface, collecting while Ceana lingered in anticipation of feasting on her blue cotton candied colored meal. Sara Bunja let out another soft little whine, shivering slightly as the fang scraped across her skin. "H-Hey, uhm, you're bringing kind of a weird energy right now, lady! If you kill me, like, my father will totally hire people to hunt you down, uhm, pretty much forever I think...! H-How about we just, like, make a deal instead!?"
Ceana Ramsay doesn't respond and continues to toy with her meal. She rolled her cold tongue along the fresh cut, slowly collecting each bead. The voidsent's sloppy feasting caused the blood to stain Sara's white hair and Ceana's once pale blue lips.

Sara Bunja kicks Ceana and smacks her fists on the wall in frustration, becominging increasingly distressed by her impending death at the hands of some weirdo. "Come on! I'm like, super serious, my father will totally spare no expense, he's like, a serious bigshot!" She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying her best to focus. "W-Why don't we just stop this now, and I'll do something to help you out? You want to like, e-eat people or whatever, right? I-I can totally help with that!"
Ceana Ramsay brought herself face to face with Sara, her red eyes piercing into the raen's pink eyes. The vampire's face expresses no emotion, stone hard like a porcelain mask, spreading her bloody lips to let words escape, "How could you help with that?"
Sara Bunja ignores the overpowering iron-laced scent of blood hanging in the air, the stinging sensation on her neck, and the grizzly red 'lipstick' painted on her captor's face. She focuses instead on the weakness in her prey, quickly shifting gears. "Right, so like, at the moment you've got one snack, right? And like, not even a very big one, right?" She gestures with one hand at her rather petite physique. "Buuuut! I could totally bring some people back here to like, you know." She winks. (1
[20:38]Sara Bunja: "And then, when you're all like, done of your thing, I can, uhm, clean up the mess and helpfully relieve you of the burden of like, dealing with all their worldly posessions? A clear winning strategy!"

Sara Joins the Daughters of the Secret Veil

A glint of interest shines in Ceana's red eyes. The vampire slowly lowers Sara to the floor until her pink pumps are again firmly planted on the wood floors, "....you are going to run away and never return...." One side of the blood-stained lips lifts into a coy smirk.
Sara Bunja puffs up her chest and puts her hands on her hips, smelling blood in the water. "Come now, that wouldn't be good for business! It's important to like, not let your prospective clients down, you know!" She flashes a quick thumbs up. "It's an, uhm, mutually beneficial arrangement! You get to do your weird fetish murder thing, and I get to make my fortune." Sara pulls a pen and notebook out of her coat. "Would you like me to, like, draw up a contract for you?"
The voidsent takes Sara by the chin with her left hand and turns Sara's head to the side. Ceana brings her right hand up to the bloody mess of the raen's neck and draws a sigil with the blood while chanting, "maleun damak hataa yafi yaminuk." The sigil burns bright, the aether disintegrating into the air after the chant is complete. "This will ensure you return at least...."
Sara Bunja squeaks in surprise as the stranger does some... Well, super weird shit on her neck. She sighs in frustration, nonplussed by the spooky behavior. "Okay, sure, if that helps you. So like..." She pulls up the pen and paper and starts writing . "I'll bring you, uhm, let's call them 'valued guests' here..." She scribbles. "And in return I get to take posession of their belongings when they are no longer, uhm, burdened by earthly needs? That'll work...." She writes a little more.

"OH! But if you get caught I will of course be renouncing any knowledge of this operation. We've never even met, you know?" She winks, jotting more down on the paper. Finally, she slaps her signature on it and hands the document over to her prey. "So, if you can just sign there we'll make this all nice and legit, okay?
Ceana Ramsay refuses to sign, fearful the mortal could use her sigil to enslave her and possibly the other voidsent she offered sanctuary to, "A verbal agreement is all you will receive for me. Plus, I don't think it would be wise to leave a paper trail for others to use to prove you are involved with... our 'secret' society."
Sara Bunja blinks an cocks her head to the side again, then nods resolutely. "I suppose that's true, it would probably be bad if the authorities found our little contract." Sara pouts and looks pensive for a moment, before holdnig out her hand. "Okay! So, like, gentlemen's agreement! We'll do it with a handshake! Oh, but you should read that first, 'cause like, I don't want you shirking out on the terms and conditions just because you couldn't be bothered reading all of them!"
Ceana Ramsay 's scarlet eyes roll in her skull as she wastes time reading the petty agreement. After 30 seconds, she corrects the aura, "I still wish to own the corpses and the souls, but as far as items the deceased carry, they are all yours. Could you bury them in the yard? Maybe in the haunted pumpkin patch? We may need the bodies later."

Sara Joins the Daughters of the Secret Veil

Sara Bunja: Ah, the negotiation phase, the game was afoot! Sara scrunched up her nose at the prospect of manual labour, it wasn't exactly the best addition to the contract. "I guess I can do that... If you would perhaps be willing to help me out with any, uhm, violent circumstances I manage to find myself in. That should be easy for someone all tough like you, right?" She held out her hand again. "Deal?" Ceana Ramsay takes the mortal's fragile hand, and tries her best to be careful to prevent removing her limbs, ".......I'm hungry..... bring me as many different types of mortals that you can. I'm not sure what type my daughters enjoy. Just bring them here, and I will handle the rest." With that, Ceana frees herself of the blue skinned aura, walking to the book before asking, "What was your name again?"
Sara Bunja breathes a sigh of relief, having successfully completed the deal. "Oh! It's Sara! What's your name, partner?" She giggeld, taking a moment to dab at the trickle of blood on her neck with a delicate looking handkerchief.

"...Call me Mother Ceana...."

"Uhm, okay, I guess that works. But like, for the record, I don't go in for the whole like, weird mommy play, 'kay?"

....Go before I decide to eat you.......

Sara Bunja snaps a crisp salute. "Sure thing, mommy! I'll catch ya later with a Valued Guest!" Wasting no time, Sara made her way out of the mansion, confident in securing her new lucrative business operation.

Sara's Death

Sara was lazy, and began dumping bodies in the tunnels. The smell of corpses attracted a spider voidsent known as Arahnea. One day, while dumping bodies, Sara was attacked and eaten by Arahnea. Ceana, not giving a shit about mortals, didn't even notice.
